Installation Package Source Location

The Red Hat Linux installation program for the S/390 zSeries allows for 3 types of installations: FTP, HTTP, and NFS. Figure 3-6 illustrates the package source dialog. When typing in the location, do NOT include the RedHat directory in the path.

Following the package location selection, the install system will attempt to connect to the source location and kickoff stage two of the install process, package selection. This may take a while depending on the network speed.
