INSTALLATION: To install the screensaver, just copy the .scr file to the main Windows folder (usually c:\WINDOWS, or c:\WINNT). After copying the file, right click on a blank area of your desktop, and select properties. Then, click on the screensavers tab and choose 3DabvoFree as your screensaver. Alternative method: Right click the screen saver file you want to run, then select "install". Do not move, or delete the scr file from its folder.

FAQs: Q: I have an ATI Radeon based card, and the colors are awful, with banding everywhere. How do I fix this? A: ATI has had a lot difficulty with their OpenGL drivers. Open your ATI display panel, and access the OpenGL settings. Change the Texture Quality setting to Highest Quality. Some ATI driver versions do not work properly with OpenGL. Please check the femtogames website to see which driver version works with the screensaver.   Q: I don't have a Radeon or Geforce based 3D card. Will I be able to run the screensaver? A: Other types of cards have not been tested, but you can download the free edition and test compatability with your card. ABVO uses the OpenGL standard, so you must have a card with the latest OpenGL drivers, as well as hardware support for Transform, and Lighting (T&L). Also, your 3D card should have at least 32 MB of RAM. Although the Free Edition may work on cards with less memory, the Special Edition contains scenes which are longer, and more complex.
