Safari and Opera for Mac OS X
With Manual Dial-Up.
Note:
The following configuration should be executed only by an expert.
We recommend to use the browser Firefox for other users.
For the configuration you open the dialog Network
in the System Preferences.

- (1) At Show
you select Network Status.
You need an LAN network component, e.g. local network, hub, switch, router,
DSL modem, cable modem, AirPort (WLAN).
Note:
At first if such a component isn't available, this has to be created.
If this isn't possible, please use another browser (Firefox, Internet
Explorer).
- (2) Select a LAN network
component.
- (3) Click on Configure....

- (4) Select tab TCP/IP.
Note:
At first if the lock symbol is closed, you must open the lock
You need administrator rights for the configuration.
- (5) Activate Configure
IPv4
E.g. with Manually and give your computer
an IP Address and a Subnet
Mask.

- (6) Select tab Proxies.
- (7) Select the proxies FTP,
HTTP as well as HTTPS
after each other and enter respectively for the proxy server (8):
127.0.0.1:8080
Note:
If entries are already available here then you transfer these in the
WebAssistant
from Surf Sets/(HTTP-Protocol,
FTP-Protocol, HTTPS-Protocol).

You duplicate the configuration of your dialing connection at the best
one. (For this at Show select the Network
Port Configurations.) When connecting to internet you can select,
whether you would like to surf with the
WebAssistant
or without this.

- (9) At Show
select the Dial-up network component.
- (10) Select tab Proxies.
- (11) Select the proxies FTP,
HTTP as well as HTTPS
after each other and enter respectively for the proxy server (12):
127.0.0.1:80800
Note:
If entries are already available here then you transfer these in the
WebAssistant
from Surf Sets/(HTTP-Protocol,
FTP-Protocol, HTTPS-Protocol).
- (13) Click on: Apply
Now.
