Getting Started:

The four most important files
The files are the rnBroadcaster31VX.exe file and the rnBroadcaster31VX.ini file(the names may very with version), the jan-25-2002.jar, jan-31-200220.cab and Jan25-2002.htm files (the names may very with version). The rnBroadcaster31VX.exe and rnBroadcaster31VX.ini file must be together in a folder, usually this folder is called Broadcaster. jan-25-2002.jar and jan-31-200220.cab (the java files) and Jan25-2002.htm must be in the webserver root file (more on this later). The root file is either called htdocs or wwwroot.

These files are provided by EnterVision and should have been included when you unzipped and installed. The webserver is a seperate software on the 3.1, but the upgrade has a built in web server, ask for an upgrade as soon as you register. If you are using Windows 98 or earlier, we suggest you use the Apache web server located at www.apache.org. If you are using Windows 2000, we suggest using the Windows Microsoft Web server for Windows 2000. Both are free and easy to set up. If you are using Apache, the root folder is htdocs, if you are using Windows 2000 webserver, the root folder is wwwroot. Both Apache and Microsoft have detailed installation information and support for these programs.
