Help On FileBreaker

 

  Some times it  is required to break  large sized files into smaller ones to transfer  them in floppies or in any other media . FileBreaker is the answer for this . FileBreaker can break a file into multiple  files of any size specified by user and can assemble the broken files back to original file.  

 

To Break A File

   1) Click on Choose File and select the file you want to break.

   2) Now you have to select the size in which you want to break the selected file. For that you can either select the default size i.e. 1.44MB or you can specify a custom size. while specifying a custom size there are some restriction.

a)  Minimum size that you can specify is 100 KB and maximum size is 4 GB.

b) You have to use INTEGERS ONLY.

c) Maximum  broken files that can be created is limited to 3,31,776. so be sure you are in this limit.

  3)  Click Break to break your selected file.

    After Breaking process, all the  broken files and one inf file will be placed in the directory from which you selected file to break. You shouldn't modify these file as they will be required during assembling process.

To Assemble Broken Files Back To Original File

 1)  Click on Assemble Files and choose the inf  file (which was created during breaking process).

After assembling process the original file will be placed in the directory from which you selected the inf file.
