Introduction

Tip-Tap is a relaxation board game in the spirit of Clickomania, Clickomania 2002, Color Lines and others.

It is designed for all color handheld devices running Palm OS 3.5 and higher and takes advantage of the high-resolution features of devices that have them, such as Sony Clie color series and the Palm OS 5 devices from Sony and Palm, Inc.

Due to its nature and rules, Tip-Tap can only be played on color devices.

What does Tip-Tap mean? Well, that's just the sound the balls make when you move them...

Installation

Tip-Tap can be installed and played on any color device running Palm OS 3.5 or higher. The game may come in either ZIP format ("TipTap.ZIP") or Windows executable format ("TipTap.EXE").

When using ZIP format, regardless whether on Mac OS, Windows or any other host platform, the necessary installation files are located in the "Programs" folder from the compressed ZIP file.

When using EXE format, all you need to do is double-click on it and follow the on-screen instructions. Pay attention that only Microsoft Windows® users can use the executable format.

Rules

The game rules are simple: move each color ball to a cell marked with the same color. The mark is in the upper left or right corner of each cell.

Balls can be moved one step (cell) at a time in horizontal or vertical direction. To move a ball, you must first select it by taping on it. The game will respond by indicating the possible ball destinations, which are up, right, down, left or the trash can. Note you can only move the ball to an empty cell. If, for example, the cell on the left is occupied by another ball, then you can not move there.

Every time you move a ball, its place is automatically occupied by a new ball. You can see the color of the new ball before you do the movement. It is in the bottom right corner of the display, where the "Next:" label is.
This helps you plan which ball to move to achieve best result.

Every time a ball gets moved to a cell marked with the same color you gain points. Every time you move it away from such cell you lose points.

Selected ball can also be bought and dismissed from the cell. To do so, tap the ball to select it and then tap the trash icon on the bar below the playing field. The ball will be dismissed and you will be charged.

In Tip-Tap 1.1 players are also given the opportunity to play the new Advanced game mode, in which there are various types of "special" objects - unmovable balls, bonus balls, eraser balls etc.

Registration

If you have downloaded the game from Internet or other place different than retail store, it will only be working in trial evaluation mode until you register it. The evaluation mode is not anyhow different than the full mode with the exception of the startup screen, which holds you for 5 seconds before proceeding to the game. Once you register, this delay will disappear.

The registration key can be obtained online from the product's page at www.beiks.com or through some of our distributors like Handango and PDAGreen. Registration is also available through PayPal or snail mail check, just drop us a line for details!
