Unlike other programs the installation steps are transparent completely. The configuration of your computer isn't change at installation of the WebAssistant automatically. The installation and deinstallation are comprehensible thus completely for you.
Step-for-Step Instruction:
Requirement for use the WebAssistant is a Java Virtual Machine J2SE version 1.4 (or higher). If these is available then the program simply can be started by clicking the file MM3-WebAssistant.jar in the folder MM3-WebAssistantProfessional.
After that WebAssistant starts and a logo appears.
If the logo doesn't appear the Java Virtual Machine isn't or not correct installed. Free Java Virtual Machine are offered from different manufacturers.
If the java machine isn't installed correctly, you can use the following alternative:
Doesn't start WebAssistant with this files, the environment variable is not defined correctly in BAT or in script file. After starting with a script file successfully you can change the faulty file type assignment in the system. Now you can start the program with the file MM3-WebAssistant.jar directly.

Possible failures:Enter the proxy into browser
Please, open the Browser now which you want to use when you are surfing with the WebAssistant.
On this browser you switch on the proxy and enter for protocol types HTTP, HTTPS and FTP the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080
The required proxy configuration is illustrated by a step-by-step description. For the browser:
Should you ever wish not to use the the WebAssistant for any particular operations, just deactivate the switched-on proxy.
Note for Mac OS X user.
Now the installation has been completed.
If you are connected online, you can archive by browse with the WebAssistant.
