  • Support for MIDI (.mid)
  • Support for Digital Video (.dv)
  • Enhanced support for MPEG Layer-III & Layer-II audio (.mp3/.mp2)
  • Improved/more descriptive error checking
  • Miscellaneous bug stomping

  If you already have version 1.12 of ShockBox, simply download version 1.13 "engine.dcr" and replace the previous "engine.dcr" file.

  New plug-in architecture allows users of ShockBox 1.12 to easily upgrade to future versions by simply replacing the "engine.dcr" file.

Have you ever wanted to listen to your complete collection of Quicktime/MPEG/AVI movies? Now you can, with ShockBox 1.1b. Not only can you listen or watch your favorite audio or video files, but you can build, shuffle, save, and load custom playlists.

Revisions: Completely re-built with Macromedia Director 7.0. The Graphic User Interface (GUI) has been modified to allow a progress bar which allows instant navigation through an audio file that is Quicktime compatible. Scrolling has been modified so that lists scroll at a slower rate (per user request). Playlists may now be saved and loaded to and from your desktop. More efficient means of loading Internet audio incorporated. Quicktime 3 is needed for full functionality. Slight modification to the application icon.

Large stacks of physical CDs stay conveniently and safely at home. ShockBox now allows you play music CDs in highly compressed CD-quality Shockwave audio off your hard drive or local hard drive. Compress your audio, label your audio files with the suffix ".swa" and drop them in a folder labeled with the CD title and you're ready to create customized playlists for playback.

Plus, drop a JPEG image of the CD cover into the same folder and view the CD image while you listen to the CD audio tracks!
