Parameter list:

The following is a list of parameters which this applet understands. There are defaults for every setting so in reality you don't need to set anything. The information below is organized in the following format:

param name - (possible values) description
display - ( horz, vert )
Display the time/date vertically or horizontally
showdate - ( true, false )
Show the date
showtime - (true, false )
Show the time
showseconds - ( true, false )
Show seconds. This is ignored if showtime is false.
bgcolor - ( black, blue, cyan, darkGray, gray, green, lightGray, magenta, orange, pink, red, white, yellow or any hex value Ex. 0x1234AB, AB947F, #458ABF)
The background color of the clock. It may be any of the above colors or any hex number
charcolor - ( black, blue, cyan, darkGray, gray, green, lightGray, magenta, orange, pink, red, white, yellow or any hex value Ex. 0x1234AB, AB947F, #458ABF)
The color of the characters. It may be any of the above colors or any hex number

The inital x,y position corresponds to the top left corner of the first character. If the xpos and ypos param are missing the time display will be centered if the display mode is horizontal.
xpos - ( any number )
The x position where the time will be drawn
ypos - ( any number )
The y position where the time will be drawn
charsize - ( any number )
The size of the characters. The sizes that look best are 15 and 20. You must remember to allocate enough space for the applet to display the characters. The maximum number of characters needed for diplaying the time is 9 characters (10 if displaying in 24 hr mode). Thus for a charsize of 20 you should have an applet width of at least 180. For the date you should allocate enought space for 15 characters.
timehrs - ( 12,24 )
Show time as 12 or 24 hr mode.

THE FOLLOWING ARE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTERED USERS ONLY:

regcode
When you register the applet you will be emailed a permanent unique code. If the regcode param is missing then a message will appear on the status bar indicating this is an unregistered applet.

ChineseClock is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
to the user for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your
friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
another system. The essence of "user-supported" software is to
provide personal computer users with quality software without
high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
continue to develop new products. If you find this program
useful and find that you are using ChineseClock and continue to use
ChineseClock after a reasonable trial period, you must make a reg-
istration payment of $11 (U.S.) to Gary Poon. The $11 (U.S.)
registration fee will license one copy for use on any one
computer at any one time. You must treat this software just like
a book. An example is that this software may be used by any
number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
being used at one location while it's being used at another.
Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
same time.

Commercial users of ChineseClock must register and pay for their
copies of ChineseClock within 30 days of first use or their license
is withdrawn. Site-License arrangements may be made by con-
tacting Gary Poon.

Anyone distributing ChineseClock for any kind of remuneration must
first contact Gary Poon for authorization.
This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
ChineseClock immediately (However Gary Poon must still be advised so
that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
version of ChineseClock.).

You are encouraged to pass a copy of ChineseClock along to your
friends for evaluation. Please encourage them to register their
copy if they find that they can use it.
