Edit your startup screen. Windows 98 Only
You
can edit your windows startup screen by changing the logo.sys file
found in the Windows folder. First you have to make a backup from the default "Logo.sys" file in case you make any mistake in it.
Right click on the Logo.sys file while holding the Shift key and choose Open With from the context menu. Choose the image editing program you want to use to edit the image. Edit the image as you would like and save the file. You can simply save a ready made image as Logo.sys and place it in the Windows folder.
Next time when you start your computer you will see the your modified image and not the default startup logo.
Note: You can also edit the files: Logos.sys ("It's now safe to turn off your computer" image) and Logow.sys ("Windows is now shutting down" image).
