Auto-Disconnect when idle.

Your computer can turn off your Internet connection if you are idle for a specific time or when the connection is no longer needed.

This can be enabled or disabled by opening Internet Options from either the Control Panel or from IE's Tools menu. Click the Connections tab and select your dial-up connection. Click the Settings button, then the Advanced button. Check or uncheck the option box titled Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed or the box titled Disconnect if idle for ... minutes. Adjust the time you want. Then click OK in all the opened dialog boxes.
