REAL NAME:

AGE:
21
COUNTRY:
Argentina
TRACKER & SONG YOU CHOSE TO COVER & WHY:
"Druidenes Oppstand" by Skarf, because I like folk-metal a lot, and I always liked that song, it has some great riffs and a great solo.
YEARS TRACKING:
I don't recall exactly when I starter Tracking, I think it was on 1995 aprox. I found Scream Tracker 3 and some mods on a CD from a Spanish Magazine, I listened to the music, it was mostly electronic but I learned a little of tracking from the mods, and since then I couldn't stop tracking.
INSTRUMENTS PLAYED?:
I've been playing Drums for 5 years now, I play a little Piano/Organ and I'm starting with the Clarinet (My grand-father is teaching me).
FAVORITE GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
Black Metal, I don't know why... I just like it. And outside Metal I like XXth Century Composers like: Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich. And some Progressive Rock bands like: Änglagård, Thinking Plague, Samla Mammas Mana, etc.
MOST DESPISED GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
Mmmmm... electronic music I think... because It's always the same, and (in general) they don't progress.
FAVORITE REAL BAND & WHY:
Right now it's Taake, a Black Metal band from Norway, but I always liked Emperor and I think it was the best Black Metal Band.
MOST DESPISED BAND & WHY:
I don't have a particular band but I think most of the 80's metal bands were really pathetic. Bands like: Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, etc...
FAVORITE TRACKER & WHY:
I think Skarf is my favourite Tracker, It was the First I listened to and the best I listened to, I like his Black Metal songs and his Folk song too.
FAVORITE INSTRUMENT & WHY:
The Drums, because to play it relax me, and it is an instrument that makes you work the mind with polyrythms and stuff, and it require a lot of work and dedication.
DO YOU RATE/REVIEW SONGS ON METALLURKY? IF NOT, WHY?:
I don't, I barely have time to track a little per day.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE SCENE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I don't have anything to complaint about the scene.

FRIZZLEFRIED'S THOUGHTS:  Skarf's "Druidenes Oppstand" still stands as one of Skarfs more enjoyable tunes (IMHO).  When I saw that Invisuu was going to remake this tune I was very curious as to how Invisuu was going to improve this tune.  Already the guitarsound and overall sound was quite nice.   Well...Invsuu tackled it head on...but improving the guitar sound while still maintaining the general sound of it.  He also added a vocal track that fits nicely with the song!  The sound of the percussions are another matter.   With the right EQ settings,  they simply kickass...unfortunately they require a setting much different from most of my music and when the tune plays with my "general" eq setting...the bassdrums are very soft and stiff sounding...but overall a kickass tune for sure.
