Most guys seems to think that CF is quite a cool group, releasing three majors
in just 24 hours. And it was a brand new group, there was no known
members in it! How on earth could they release so much!
Well the answer to that is quite easy, but this text is about having fun,

Seems that you guys were pretty slow with everything but the Sabre Team
thingie... hahaha... Nice going guys, really fast spreading!

By now you have probably figured that something is wrong with CF. And
you are right. There is no CF! It was simply a name we choose at random.
So yes, the whole CF thing is a big fake. All our releases are fakes,
the contents have absolutely NOTHING to do with the descriptions. Banjo
took some nondos disks and dms'd them, and that was it. The first
release, BATTLE TOADS, had Professional Page starring as the main file
disk one. If you don't believe me, try renaming it and use it instead
of your normal PPAGE exe file.. it works! haha!
The reason why CF was started? Fun! And curiosity! We wanted to see if
people checked their wares. We figured that when people see something
from an unknown group, they will check it before trading it. But we were
wrong! Lots of guys traded our stuff, and not just 'normal' traders, but
also the so-called ELITE traders, like Mario/TRZ.
Which basically shows that they aren't that much more elite than others
when it really comes down to earth. Haha!
We in 'CF' have had lots of fun... We thought the shit would be faked
right away on the board we upped it. Which was Boondocks!
It was quite easy to get in there, a reference and a snes upload, and
hey presto, we were in. SHows a bit about how easy it is. And that is
also what we wanted to show you. The sysop on Boondocks offered to
get us some accounts on some major us boards, so we could EASILY have
uploaded the shit on the really fast boards... haha.. so much for
the security.
Before you go totally bonkers and never let anyone in again, consider
that it was a harmless joke. No-one got hurt. Ok, some of you lost
some creds, but most only lost x1 which means that it's not a big deal.
To those who lost MORE than x1, sorry... that's a shame, but what can
we do (but laugh!).
It's not april, so this is not an april fool. But who cares, as long as
we had a great time watching it being upped on a lot of boards. It
surprised us how long time it took for it to be wide-spread. But
eventually it was all over the globe.
SO there you have it. A couple of guys with a sick sence of humour.
They made your day stink (when you got nuked) but hey, at least there
were something to trade! hahahaahahahahahha!
After this episode, there might be others trying to pull the same stunt
over. But don't do it. It's lame now. You can never do it with the same
kind of grace and class that CF used. There can only be one.
But will CF strike back...?

Btw: some guy even asked to be distribution site for CF (non-paying)!
