CU-SEEME - readme.1st March 1996 CU-SEEME is video conferencing software for the PC and Macintosh on the Internet. With CU-SeeMe you can send (optional) and receive video and audio with other people on the Internet. CU-SeeMe also includes Chat. The Macintosh version includes a slide projector plug-in that lets you send full sized 480x640 images. CU-SeeMe works point-to-point for one-on-one conferences or multi-point using CU-SeeMe reflector software. To send video you'll need a video capture system (video camera & capture card or a QuickCam camera). HOW TO OBTAIN CU-SeeMe FOR WINDOWS: To obtain CU-SeeMe for Windows use anonymous ftp to cu-seeme.cornell.edu in the directory /pub/cu-seeme/PC.CU-SeeMeW0.xxx. Get the highest available xxx. Download the ReadMe file from that directory in text mode and the cuseeme.zip file in binary mode. HOW TO OBTAIN CU-SeeMe FOR MACINTOSH: To obtain CU-SeeMe for the Macintosh use anonymous ftp to cu-seeme.cornell.edu in the directory /pub/video/Mac.CU-SeeMe0.xxx. Get the highest available xxx. Download the ReadMe file from that directory in text mode. Read it and obtain the other files you need.
